So, it would appear that our baby does not have a penis. We're too excited to quite believe it (not that we have anything against babies with penises... just excited to finally know where Bumble falls on the gender spectrum, excited to pick out Baby's First Tennis Skirt, excited to buy little frilly bows and ribbons and etc....), but that won't stop us from meeting at Babies R Us this evening to start Getting Ready.
With the Colts still undefeateded, we're leaning toward the name "Edgerrene Peytonia José". Subject to change if they choke in the playoffs, when we'll fall back on our favorite rhyming name: Lingerie Tanqueray José.*
(*you know I'm kidding, right?)

Posted by: Lauren at October 4, 2005 03:56 PMDoesn't it seem like more of a real "little person" in there now that you know the gender?
Congratulations and have fun!
i don't know anything about babies without penises:) how exciting for you!!!! congrats!!!
Posted by: ali at October 4, 2005 09:40 PMhey thats just absolutely great as you already know girls are rather dominant in our family (more girls than boys 8 vs.4). I am so very proud of you, and so extremely excited. As for the name you will pick out yet a dozen more before the time comes, but that is just OK as long as she has a name when she makes her grand appearance is all that matters. Love to you, Aunt Donnetta
